Just keep pinning

Here's where I am with the wedding quilt. I've got the arcs together, seam allowances pressed under, and pinned to the whole cloth top. This thing is ginormous. 105" wide. Honk!

I didn't like my original layout as well once I laid down the actual arcs, so I played with them until I came up with this arrangement, which seemed "right". When I stepped back again after pinning I realized it looks more like a loop-de-loop than two rings. But my compassionate husband said that it looks like two rings to him so I will continue forward on my path.

I have some hand appliqueing ahead of me. Which will give me time to ponder my quilting options. I do enjoy a good ponder.

Oh my goodness that is a lot of hand applique - not my strong suit - but it is going to be gorgeous once done. Looking forward to the end result being posted

I think this is going to be a really interesting quilt! Certainly a different take on an old traditional pattern..... Can't wait to see the end result!!

Nice. I think a lot of my quilting time is actually pondering and fabric fondling time.

I really like it and my mind fills it in and sees two rings also.

I think it looks like two rings also. I don't see the loop-de-loop, so it's all good! Great job!

I think that it brings it all together, Christina. What a wonderful design !
To the person expecting a double wedding ring, it says "21st century", and to those of us who have lived in the two-ring circus for awhile, we recognize the "loop-de-loop, what goes 'round, comes 'round, bring it back to center" aspect of marriage.

Whoa....you send me too deep !

But, you go girl ! This will be a treasure !

And as my word verification says today ....."wherdiz"........or where it is !

I love the bunting quilt you made too. Super inspiring! I love to make pennants and a quilt is an awesome interpretation!
