Stacks

I would have never predicted this. My fabric is all folded. Weird.

I came home from an all-day sew with the Portland Modern Quilt Guild (which was super fun) and after the kid was asleep I went right back to playing with fabric. This kind of thing only happens in the lull between the end of one project and the start of four more.  I guess seeing enough of you orderly quilters with your neatly folded stacks is rubbing off on me!

Hmmm... orderly that is definitely a good thing! I think you need to rub off on me.

Nice. I wish I could cull my stash a little so it wasn't so overwhelming and that I could keep it neat like that!

I have done this many times, but my wish is that they would stay that way for a longer period of time before I start rummaging thru them again. Bonnie

Congrats, I find it inspires me even more when I can actually see what is on the shelves.

gosh I wish I would rub off on me! While mine are in the cupboard, they are willy nilly and I'm always looking for one thing or the other.

I fold when I'm stuck on some aspect of some quilt I'm working on.

Looks really neat! I like to be able to see what I have--it took me 25 years to figure out that being organized gives me more time to quilt.

It's beautiful - but as it is now Thursday at 4:00 p.m. CST, I'm wondering if it still looks like that? I can't ever keep mine beautifully organized for more than a day or so..... ;-)
