A Craftsy peek...

I am having a hard time being patient waiting for my new Craftsy class to come out!! But happily for me, the Craftsy team just sent me these photos they took when I was out shooting the class, and told me I could share them. Sneak peek time!

Are you noticing a pattern.... like there's some straight lines and FMQ in each piece? What if.... you used both your walking foot and your free-motion foot for what they are each best at? What if you quilted something low stress that was also totally lovely?

It can be dense or open. It feels super modern to me too. Did I mention I can't wait to show you?

This may be favorite picture of me ever taken! I look at it and I see that I'm coming back to a certain amount of ease and joy and creativity that was lost during the confusion of the divorce.  Having my home be a safe place is incredibly powerful.  I wish for all of you the safe space to try new things and bring your beautiful work into the world.

You're such a cutie! I use both my walking foot and FMQ often! They pair up quite nicely! I can't wait for your class to come out. Sadly, I'll be away from my beloved Janome Horizon for 6 whole months, as I'm a snowbird and can't take it back and forth!

Oooh, thanks for the sneak peek! Congratulations - your new class looks amazing! I love using both a walking foot and a FMQ foot on the same piece - low stress for sure. And I totally agree - Having my home be a safe place is incredibly powerful - and wonderful - and certainly helps our creativity thrive - ;))

Look forward to seeing this. I am just investigating straight line quilting more - I was so inspired by your other Craftsy classes I much prefer more curvy fmq but recently realised that with a ruler foot and straight ruler I can go straight from fmq to lines without changing the foot so that is possibly how I'll adapt your ideas. Didn't know you'd divorced but totally understand how it can constrict and how wonderful it is when you come our the other side - creative crafts definitely help. Wild quilting is possibly my favourite past class of yours as it unleashed things I never thought possible would flow from my machine, but I look at them all over and over again.

I didn't know you went through a divorce, and wouldn't have guessed, so it's apparent that you're the one who thinks you look different. I think you look great whenever I've seen you! I'm excited for you to have produced another Craftsy video. It's such a wonderful recognition of your incredible talent. Congratulations! Quite honestly, I've done so much FMQ that for me it's challenging to "go back" to walking foot quilting. But I'm doing that on my current quilt, and I'm happy with it. FMQ still has my heart though. :-)

The samples from your new Craftsy class (and you) look great! Can't wait to take another Christina Cameli Craftsy class!!!

Those samples are beautiful with all the depth in the quilting. And good for you to recognize your old self coming back. Sometimes that's hard to see for yourself in real life. Someone else needs to tell you . . . or a still photo tells you! God bless.

You and your quilting both look terrific ! I was just thinking that I should re watch some of your other Craftsy classes for a little inspiration.
