Wow! Thanks for sharing some inspiration!! I'm starting a new quilt... or rather starting to design a new quilt, and I need ideas :) That last tile is really cool.
What store did you go to in your area? I may want to tile my kitchen back splash and I really like all the designs. All the designs sure gives one a lot of ideas!
Ooh! I love that 4th one with the circles! I'm glad I'm not the only one who takes pictures of tiles - sometimes even when they are on the floor of someone's house!
Ha ha.. I am so glad that I am not "strange" for taking pictures of tile "because I see a quilt pattern" in it. Most of my friends are over giving me that "you weirdo" look when I say "wouldn't that make a great quilt" - say when I am looking at a cake or a wall. You never know where inspiration will strike!
what wonderful tiles! The top one reminds me of a swap quilt I made recently, the second one of the quilting I did on my Kona challenge - I'd love to make that third one into a quilt, and the last one would be wonderful as well! I never knew how much fun you can have in a tile store! Did you decide on any of them for other then quilting purposes?
What a great post to inspire quilters! I've noticed that quilters are especially likely to get design ideas from unexpected sources. I was thinking about this a lot last week after attending the CHA summer trade show, and I even wrote this blog post about nontraditional quilting ideas I saw at the show: http://www.favecraftsblog.com/inspiration-for-quilters-at-cha/
I really impressed to watch that fourth one with the circles. I am glad I am not the only one who takes pictures of tiles. It looks very beautiful and best on the floor of house.

There use to be this cool place like this in Michigan, but they closed down. Where did you see these at?

How funny I was going to put up a picture of our tile backsplash for the same reason! I love all the examples what are you going to do?

Beautiful tiles! And definitely put me in mind of quilting. I'd rush home and start quilting - forget about home improvement!
