Log Cabin Quilting and Creativebug Giveaway

Do you know about Creativebug? I spend very little time online these days and so I only heard of it last week when my friend Susan Beal told me her new 4 week class, Log Cabin Quilting, will start this week at Creativebug. She sent me pictures for her new class, it looks so sweet and very Susan. If you're wanting some log cabins in your life you should check this out! (Susan is clearly meant to teach this class because she wrote Modern Log Cabin Quilting).

I got to try out the website and I'm thrilled. The thing I love about it is that it is subscription based. You pay by the month and watch as many classes as you want in that month. I noticed Natalie Chanin, Brandon Mably, Kaffe Fassett, Anna Maria Horner, Kathy Doughty, so many classes that caught my eye! I think this subscription idea is a great model and really budget friendly. The clincher for me is that they have a phone app. I tried it out and it's pretty good.

I'm happy to report that I get to give away a 3 month subscription to Creativebug just in time for one lucky duck to enjoy Susan's class that starts May 6th. So this is a flash giveaway. Leave a comment below telling me the last person you hugged. I know I'm such a pollyanna about my giveaways but I really do like hearing about the good things going on in this world. I'll pick a winner on May 6!

The winner is chosen! #3, Betsy, congratulations Betsy!

The last person I hugged was my son, yesterday. We went to lunch and then he dropped me off downtown ~ I went to the movies ~ The Railway Man. The person before that, my daughter-in-law when I dropped her off at the airport and the person before that ~ it was you when I dropped off your bag!
Don't get as many hugs as I'd like ~ so I had to tell them all!

I hugged my awesome hubby this morning as he went off to work. He goes to work for us every day and it is so easy to just take for granted that I am able to stay home and keep the home fires burning and he goes to work for us to enjoy this wonderful lifestyle we have built! The least I can do is give him a big hug each morning!!

I hugged 2 people today. One because she just finished her last class and will get her bachelors degree next week at the young age of 52. And I hugged someone else who I had asked why she was talking to an extremely negative person and she said she didn't have anyone else to talk to. I said she had me, and I hugged her.
I would love the subscription. I keep thinking of joining and the trail would probably get me hooked. Thanks for the chance.

My Mom is 90 years old and she still sews and quilts. She is my best friend and has been my sewing and crafting mentor all my life. The best Mom ever! I am always giving her hugs because I am so grateful to still have her here teaching me how to do different sewing techniques and projects and guiding me through my life.
